Orfoncé’s Bio-Printing Project Selected for Climate Solutions Festival 2024!

We are thrilled to announce that Orfoncé’s groundbreaking bio-printing project has been selected as one of the top 20 climate solution ideas in Canada by the Climate Solutions Festival 2024! This recognition underscores our commitment to addressing climate change through innovative, sustainable technologies.

Our bio-printing project, which converts waste wood into sustainable bio-ink, is not only a step towards reducing environmental impact but also a testament to the power of ingenuity in solving real-world problems. We are also honored to be shortlisted for the Public Choice Award, a prestigious non-dilutive prize of $20,000.

The Climate Solutions Festival is a pivotal event, designed to accelerate innovation in climate technology. It provides a unique platform for showcasing cutting-edge solutions and fosters collaboration among researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, and industry leaders. 1. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic
to be really something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next
post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

    • Thank you, Mr. Snyder, for your insightful comment. Indeed, the development of biomaterials is a complex process, despite appearing straightforward. At Orfoncé, we have pioneered an innovative thermomechanical process to extract molecules with high adhesive properties, which also yield a black pigment. This breakthrough forms the basis of our black bio-ink. We plan to publish our findings soon. We appreciate your interest and feedback.

      Best regards,
      The Orfoncé Team
