On June 17–18, 2025, Orfoncé inc. had the privilege of participating in the Climate Solutions Prize Festival 2025 in Montreal, Canada, a gathering that brought together investors, companies, startups, and decision-makers from across North America, all committed to tackling climate change through innovation.

Orfoncé president, Dr. Chahardeh, presented Wood Ink, Orfoncé’s 100% bio-based, petroleum-free ink developed from Canadian forestry waste. Designed as a sustainable alternative for the packaging and printing industries, Wood Ink reduces carbon footprint while improving recyclability and composability.

The feedback and interest we received during the event were highly encouraging, reaffirming the relevance of our mission: to provide practical, scalable solutions that bridge scientific innovation and environmental responsibility.

A highlight of our participation was the opportunity to pitch Orfoncé’s vision — transforming forestry waste into clean, renewable bio-ink — and to connect with stakeholders who share our commitment to building a sustainable future.

We extend our sincere thanks to Cycle Momentum for their invitation and support. Looking ahead, Orfoncé Inc. hopes to contribute even further, perhaps as early as next year, by providing Wood Ink for printing the festival’s name badges and materials. It would be an honor to see our innovation supporting an event so deeply aligned with our values.

At Orfoncé, we remain dedicated to advancing sustainability in printing and packaging, and to collaborating with partners who believe, as we do, that innovation is key to a cleaner future.
